Silvaner has earned a reputation of being the Franken region's specialty grape variety, and this premium wine demonstrates why. The fully ripened grapes were hand-picked at the end of October and were characterised by the vineyards' exceptional micro-climate, created by the steep slopes of Iphöfen.
Noble fruit flavours and a delicate yet present acid-structure create this Silvaner's distinctive taste.
Food recommendation: This Auslese is a wonderful companion to aromatic cheeses and creamy desserts such as chocolate mousse. It is also a delicious treat in place of a dessert, and therefore adds the finishing touch to a fine menu.
